CUSO-VSO Canada merger is official |
CUSO, VSO International and VSO Canada
have signed the legal documents to officially merge CUSO and VSO Canada, and approve the membership
of the new organization in the
worldwide VSO Federation. By joining forces, 'CUSO-VSO' will become Canada’s largest international cooperation agency
that works through volunteers.

'Sister Betty' offers hope to widows and orphans in Ghana |
 "After
the death of my husband in 1988, I was falsely accused of killing him and
running away with his belongings,” says Mrs. Betty Ayagiba. “It was such a
difficult time, but I had few options – legal or economic.” That’s why in 1999,
she founded the Widows and Orphans Movement (WOM), a CUSO partner group in Northern Ghana.
